The blast was headed into the street 

The position of the bag has a lot to do with the direction of the blast

You can see the blast was in front of the tree. Not behind it.
Tsarnaevs WHITE backpack did not blow up 


  
A BLACK NYLON DUFFEL BAG did 

 That Black bag was already there upon Tsarnaevs arrival

The blast was in front of the tree not the back 

as the residue cleaned area shows Outside the blast was sooty

                A Black  nylon duffel bag blew up not a White canvas one

Tsarnaev's bag did not blow up 

A black bag that was already there did

Who threw the barricade across the street?

How did the barricade get bent around the mailbox

Note that there are no white canvas backpack pieces of Jahar's canvas backpack anywhere in the area.  That tells me it was taken out of the area right after the blast.
